Fruitful started with a lot of tests.

I’m Polly, founder of Fruitful. My husband Rhys and I spent two years trying to conceive while navigating endometriosis and PCOS. Like a lot of people on a TTC journey, I found myself counting cycle days, watching faint lines and buying ovulation and pregnancy tests month after month.

The testing helped me understand what was happening in my cycle — but the cost added up quickly. I kept thinking: if you need to test often, why should every answer come with a pharmacy-sized price tag?

That question became Fruitful.

Made for people who test often

Fruitful is a New Zealand fertility testing store built around a simple idea: high-sensitivity ovulation and early pregnancy tests should be affordable enough to use when you actually need them.

Our pregnancy tests detect hCG at 10mIU and our ovulation tests detect LH at 20mIU. We offer strip tests for our best everyday value and midstream tests when convenience matters more.

We don’t want to be just another box of tests. Alongside the products, Fruitful provides straightforward instructions and practical TTC education so you have better context for what a result can — and can’t — tell you.

That includes being clear that ovulation tests detect an LH surge but don’t confirm ovulation, and that a pregnancy test taken very early can be negative before hCG has risen enough to detect.
